Banquet Cook

Job Duties

• Prepares food for service with the Banquet operations
• Sets up the cooking line
• Prepares food for a variety of banquet functions
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas
• Cleans food prep areas after meal period
• Teaches, trains, and assists other cooks
• Supervises and establishes the finest food preparation possible from the kitchen
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Four years’ culinary experience in a high volume themed banquet setting
• Two years of culinary school plus two years of experience may be substituted for four years of culinary experience
• Possesses excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment
• Promotes superior guest service
