Responsibilities
- Focus on ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.

- Complete all required brand specific training, Vision University training, and health and safety training.
- Adhere to all Vision Hospitality Group and property specific brand standards.
- Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests.
- Provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associate.
- Oversee events, set-up, and breakdown of all function rooms.
- Act as the contact person for the guest.
- Coordinate customer experience with the kitchen, front desk, set-up, and sales staff.
- Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate inventory with event calendar and BEO to ensure inventory is equal to what is needed.
- Inspect the scheduled function area/room for cleanliness, working condition, and proper furniture/equipment set up; rectify any deficiencies with respective departments.
- Oversee event staff being mindful of uniform appropriateness, attendance, and timeliness.
- Conduct pre-function inspections to identify any outstanding needs and readiness for event.
- Conduct pre-function meeting with appropriate staff and review all information pertinent to setup and service of function.
- Total all outstanding charges for the function, prepare check, and present to event contact for payment adhering to all cashiering procedures/policies.
- Provide feedback to manager.
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards.
- Conduct post-function inspection, and review status of assignments and any follow-up action needed with Manager and/or incoming Supervisor.
- Monitor and handle customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing.
- Attend all scheduled associate meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, and associate issues.
- Responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assets.
- Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.
- Dependable transportation available.
- Able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Organized, honest, works well with others, and has an outgoing personality.
- Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person.
- Highest degree of integrity and humility, living by the Golden Rule.
- Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

- Able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch; lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds.
- Can stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment.
- Eyesight enabling vision both near and far.
- Comfortable using a step stool or ladder.
- Able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours.
- Able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, and stress.
- Finger dexterity for operating equipment.
- Speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand English.
