Main Duties
- Deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and efficient dining experience.
- Oversee event space, managing banquet server assignments, seating arrangements, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of our extensive menu and beverage list, confidently answering guest inquiries and offering recommendations.
- Ensure all food and beverage services meet the highest quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.
- Motivate and mentor banquet staff, providing ongoing coaching and support to optimize their performance.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized event space, upholding the high standards of The Ned.
- Aid in opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and equipment.
- Contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a server in a high-volume, fast-paced event environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and delegate tasks effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of fine dining service etiquette and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
- Must be able to use step ladder.
