Banquet Captain

Key Responsibilities

- You'll be the leader behind memorable events and functions, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. - Your daily tasks will include supervising banquet staff, coordinating event logistics, and liaising with clients. - You will report to the Banquet Manager. - A career as a banquet captain can pave the way to various management roles, such as banquet manager, event planner, or even director of catering and conference services.

Education & Experience

- No educational minimum is required - Previous experience in this exact position (preferred) - Previous experience in a similar or related position (required) - A combination of education and hospitality experience will be considered

- Eligible to work in the United States - Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs. - Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations - Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed - A warm, professional demeanor that reflects HVMG’s Culture of Excellence
