Responsibilities
- Supervision: Train, schedule, and lead banquet servers and staff, including assigning stations and conducting pre-function meetings.
- Event Execution: Oversee room setup, décor, and food/beverage service to ensure it aligns with the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
- Customer Service: Act as the main contact for clients, greeting them, reviewing agendas, and resolving complaints promptly.
- Operations & Safety: Maintain cleanliness, inspect uniforms, manage inventory, and enforce health and safety regulations.
- Administrative: Prepare post-event reports, manage timekeeping for staff, and handle, as well as handle, inventory.
Qualifications
- Better team +8
- Experience: Usually 3-5 years of experience in food service, with previous leadership roles preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move heavy equipment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; hospitality degree is a plus.
Pay
$19 - $22/hour
