Banquet Captain
Job Description
Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision—clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china only, please.
Cook up a smooth service flow, ensuring meals are served smoothly and on time.
Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver top-notch guest experiences, from coffee breaks to full-service dinners.
Handle audio-visual setup and troubleshooting—yes, you’ll be part tech support too.
Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep the operation running like clockwork.
What We Are Looking For
- Customer service experience—because happy guests are the heart of hospitality.
- At least 6 months of banquet food service experience—we need someone who’s seen a plated dinner or two.
- Leadership potential or experience—you're not afraid to guide a team and step in where needed.
- Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete in 90 days)—because safety is always in style.
- Physical stamina—this role includes lifting, bending, walking, and standing during your entire shift.
