Banquet Bartender - On-Call

About the role

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking an On‑Call Banquet Bartender to work in the restaurant and for banquet functions. The role emphasizes balance, mindfulness, and personal growth, offering access to fitness centers, hiking trails, wellness programs, and professional training.

Responsibilities

• Provide libations and offer customized drink recommendations.
• Prepare craft cocktails and maintain knowledge of all spirits offered.
• Learn and speak knowledgeably about wine and beer.
• Tend to guests in the bar area, delivering meaningful and efficient service.
• Serve and be fully familiar with the bar food menu and Grab & Go offerings.
• Bartend at satellite events as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including rotation and stocking of all bar inventory.
• Uphold sanitation standards and maintain an attractive bar presentation.
• Understand and follow state and local serving guidelines.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast‑paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Understanding of state and local serving regulations (preferred).

Pay

The position is paid a competitive flat hourly rate (non‑tipped).
