Banquet Bartender

About the role

The Reef is a premier special event location in Long Beach, CA, known for its high-end culinary experiences and stunning waterfront views. As a Banquet Bartender, you'll play a key role in ensuring guests have a memorable experience through attentive service and expert cocktail preparation.

Responsibilities

• Possess a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks accurately, quickly, and without waste.
• Serve drinks and food to bar guests.
• Observe guests to respond to their needs and ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication of guests and handling an intoxicated guest.
• Participate in and pass alcohol awareness and safety training classes.
• Stock and prepare garnishes for drinks.
• Maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies.
• Order and maintain an inventory of liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies.
• Collect payment and operate P.O.S. computer quickly and efficiently.
• Balance and secure all moneys at the end of shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass bar training and validation process.
• One year experience in a similar role required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to clearly and effectively communicate in English.

Skills

• Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer.
• Must be able to make change correctly.
• Must be able to make credit card transactions.

Pay

Hourly rate plus tips, ranging from 20.00 to 23.00 per year.

Part-time, 8 hours per week, 880 South Harbor Scenic Drive, Long Beach, CA, USA.
