Banquet Bartender
About the role
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Four Seasons standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Comply at all times with Four Seasons standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position to include Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Set up the bar according to hotel standards and Banquet Event Order to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the hotel's mixing and presentation standards.
- Serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Break down bar after the completion of functions;
- Store liquor, supplies, and equipment according to the hotel's standards.
- Follow all state liquor laws.
- Know hotel services and facilities.
- Abside by all hotel policies and safety rules.
- Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests.
- Respond to guests' problems, complaints and accidents.
- Be familiar with all fire exit locations and fire extinguisher locations and know how to operate.
- Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and their fellow employees.
- Ensure that the bar and service areas are kept clean and tidy during service.
- Attend meetings as required by management.
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements
Minimum of 1 year high volume bartending experience.
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Average knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks.
Good communication and customer contact skills.
This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
Micros knowledge preferred.
Qualifications
Will have minimum of 1 year high volume bartending experience.
