Banquet Attendant

About the role

Compass Pointe Golf Courses is a busy 36-hole golf course which hosts over 150 events/banquets per season. The Banquet Attendant is a key member of the team and is responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage manager in the oversight of golf events/banquets. The Banquet Attendant must be reliable, have excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate on a friendly level. The candidate must have a positive attitude and able to interact with guests in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the pavilion for guests
• Preparing and cooking food
• Cleaning the pavilion area
• Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepping food, running food and serving food
• Cleaning of the banquet tables, chairs, floors, and equipment
• Remove all trash from the banquet area
• Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining
• Perform other duties assigned by Food and Beverage Manager
• Teamwork is essential
• Willing to be flexible and able to work holidays and weekends
• Must be 16 years or older to work

Requirements

• Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
• Highly organized, efficient and detail oriented
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong service orientation
• Must be 16 years or older to work
