About the role
Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Bankruptcy Processor to join our Notice of Final Cure Team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review daily reports to ensure matters are processed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Prepare, process, and file bankruptcy responses and related legal documents.
- Draft and submit responses and correspondence for client review and approval.
- Coordinate assignments with local counsel and process hearing results.
- Monitor and process Electronic Case Filing (ECF) notifications and attorney correspondence.
- Update and maintain client systems with accurate and timely information.
- Process incoming calls, emails, faxes, payment histories, disputes, attorney assignments, and debtor payments.
- Provide administrative and operational support to attorneys and management.
- Assist with departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate professionally with bankruptcy trustees, bankruptcy courts, local counsel, and debtor's attorneys.
- Ability to navigate and interpret client systems accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based applications.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
