Banking Product Owner Senior Manager
About the role
Accountable for defining and delivering the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the One Financial platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and enterprise architecture standards. Serve as the primary liaison between business, engineering, and cross-functional teams to maximize platform value and drive adoption across multiple products and business units. Lead the translation of complex financial and operational requirements into scalable platform capabilities, emphasizing reusability, integration, and long-term sustainability and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap, balancing short-term delivery priorities with long-term platform scalability and performance.
- Act as the voice of the customer and stakeholders, gathering input across experience, finance, technology, risk, compliance, and operations teams to inform product decisions.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, developing epics and user stories aligned to business value, risk, and technical dependencies.
- Partner closely with engineering, architecture, and UX teams to deliver high-quality platform capabilities through Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Establish and enforce platform standards including APIs, data models, and integration patterns to ensure consistency and interoperability.
- Drive platform governance, including versioning, lifecycle management, and backward compatibility across releases.
- Monitor platform adoption, usage metrics, and value realization, using data-driven insights to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment, manage trade-offs, and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership.
- Support financial and business case analysis, including ROI, cost optimization, and platform investment decisions.
Requirements
- A combined 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Product Management, Consumer lending, or Core banking.
- A Bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams delivering complex projects.
- Experience with agentic AI use case deployment or building AI agents for banking workflows.
- Hands-on exposure to generative AI solutions and prompt engineering.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to innovate beyond traditional consulting approaches.
- Proficiency in visual storytelling tools (PowerPoint, data visualization platforms).

Pay
Compensation at Accenture varies by location. Annual salary ranges for this role are as follows:
- California: $132,500 to $338,300
- Cleveland: $122,700 to $270,600
- Colorado: $132,500 to $292,200
- District of Columbia: $141,100 to $311,200
- Illinois: $122,700 to $292,200
- Maine: $112,900 to $249,000
- Maryland: $132,500 to $292,200
- Massachusetts: $132,500 to $311,200
- Minnesota: $132,500 to $292,200
- New York: $122,700 to $338,300
- New Jersey: $141,100 to $338,300
- Virginia: $122,700 to $311,200
- Washington: $141,100 to $311,200
