About the role

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:

  • Experience representing financial institutions, asset managers, and issuers in structured finance transactions and securitizations, including CLO transactions and related special purpose entity matters
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents for asset-backed securities issuances, warehouse facilities, credit facilities, and other structured finance arrangements
  • Familiarity with preparing, negotiating, reviewing and analyzing transactional legal opinions, particularly involving corporate and structured finance legal issues
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to support the team throughout all phases of complex structured finance transactions
  • Detail oriented and organized, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast paced transactional practice
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

Represent financial institutions, asset managers, and issuers in structured finance transactions and securitizations, including CLO transactions and related special purpose entity matters

Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for asset-backed securities issuances, warehouse facilities, credit facilities, and other structured finance arrangements

Prepare, negotiate, review and analyze transactional legal opinions, particularly involving corporate and structured finance legal issues

Support the team throughout all phases of complex structured finance transactions

Show attention to detail and maintain organizational skills

Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed to practice in their home jurisdiction or be eligible for admission

Qualifications

Pay

$175,000 - $225,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule

Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data
