About the Role
As a Banking intern in the Investment Banking Summer Intern Program, you will work with various Investment Banking teams to address our clients’ most strategic questions. You’ll advise a broad range of corporate clients, delivering holistic, structured solutions—such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, structured solutions, or risk management—to help clients achieve their goals.
As a Summer Analyst, you’ll spend the summer learning the art and science behind executing transactions. As a member of one of our Industry, Product, or Geographic groups, you’ll work on live deals and deal proposals, including:
- Financial analysis and modeling
- Valuation
- Industry research
- Client due diligence
- Developing written materials, including offering memoranda and new business presentations

Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a target graduation date within one year of the conclusion of this internship
- GPA of 3.2 or above
- Unrestricted work authorization in the country you’re applying to work within
- Keen interest in business and finance, with a curiosity to learn
- Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit, often demonstrated through extracurricular activities
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities
- Collaborate on live deals and client pitches
- Support the team in advising corporate clients and delivering structured solutions to meet client goals
- Work with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Identify opportunities and develop business cases for new products and services in investment banking
- Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, including responding to questions and processing transactions
- Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support decision-making
- Understand business operations and learn from industry experts
- Train and mentor junior colleagues
- Perform prescribed activities to a high standard and drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your assigned area
- Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development and coordinating resources (if applicable)
- Develop technical expertise and act as an advisor (for individual contributors)
- Partner with other functions and business areas
