About the role

TEKsystems is currently searching for career-driven candidates interested in a Bank Teller opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Puyallup, WA USA 98375 area!

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
• Aid members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
• Identify opportunities to cross sell products and increase product penetration
• Perform platform banking functions
• Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services
• May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing procedures
• May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-3 years of banking experience, retail, cash handling, customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required

Qualifications

Experience in banking, retail, cash handling, customer service, and ability to communicate effectively in various mediums.

Skills

• Customer service skills
• Knowledge of banking products and services
• Ability to handle cash and negotiable instruments
• Basic understanding of banking regulations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $21.82/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm, Saturday: 8:30am-2:30pm
