Bank Teller

This is a Contract position based out of Cameron, NC. This is a fully onsite position.
About the Role
To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
- Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
- Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
- Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
- Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration
- Perform platform banking functions
Requirements
- 1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry
- Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
- High School Diploma is required.
Schedule
- Full-time/ 40 hours per week
- MUST be available between Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-2:30pm
- Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
