Bank Teller

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for deposit and loan transactions
• Accept and post deposits to checking, savings, and certificate of deposit accounts
• Process withdrawals from checking, savings, and certificate of deposit accounts
• Open and close deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit)
• Accept and post payments to mortgage loans, lines of credit, and credit card accounts
• Handle mortgage payoffs
• Consult with customers regarding their accounts, both in person and by phone
• Issue cashier’s checks
• Manage and balance a teller cash drawer daily

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous banking experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel) (preferred)
