About the role

The role involves maintaining a domestic and catering service ensuring a clean safe working environment and assisting in the preparation and plating up of all patient meals. It requires teamwork, following instructions, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Prepare and plate up all patient meals
  • Work as part of a team or independently
  • Follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Achieve mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland
  • Comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment
  • Possess an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)

Requirements

  • Pass the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland
  • Comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment
  • Full training will be provided for the Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate

Qualifications

An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but full training will be given. Applicants must be well educated, of a smart appearance, and have good customer communication skills.
