Responsibilities
- Oversight of branch performance, achieving sales targets, optimizing operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
- Motivating sales teams to manage prospect and customer pipelines.
- Engaging in consultative conversations to offer tailored solutions and foster customer loyalty.
- Analyzing branch performance data to drive strategic decisions and improve performance and efficiency.
- Coeaching and developing team members, setting clear expectations, and enhancing performance.
- Hiring, retaining, and motivating branch colleagues across various job families.
- Managing branch scheduling to balance branch needs with employee availability.
- Utilizing digital technologies and platforms to enhance customer interactions and drive business outcomes.
- Providing an elevated customer experience, simplifying processes, and ensuring exceptional service.
- Managing escalated customer issues and providing effective solutions.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with customers in various channels.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements for risk management and compliance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrated successful experience in retail bank sales management or related bank operations/support function.
- 5+ years of experience in retail sales management or equivalent.
- 12+ months of demonstrated successful Santander experience related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the Branch Manager role.
- District Executive, District Operations Manager, and Region President endorsements of performance.
- 3+ years of experience selling products and/or services in an incentive-based environment.
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably as a Branch Manager or similar position.
- Proven relationship-building skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Experience in coaching and developing team members.
- Excellent communication, consultative, and influence skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital tools and platforms.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions to improve performance and operational outcomes.
