Band Saw Casting - Manufacturing

About the role

You will report to the Operations Supervisor via the Castline Team Lead, and will be tasked with helping to run our castlines. As part of your role, you'll be a significant contributor to BRP-Spruce Pine's manufacturing operation.

Opportunities

• Operate a vertical bandsaw station degating aluminum castings as per quality specifications
• Use a hoist to move aluminum casting clusters around the work area
• Maintain related equipment to ensure proper functioning, including furnace cleaning
• Learn the castline operational process to prepare for department growth and future opportunities
• Maintain run-at-rate with fill station
• Work with quality team to obtain first-part approvals
• Adhere to standards to ensure the production of high-quality parts
• Follow established safety rules
• Identify and follow process sheets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Experience working with hand tools or machines
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Looks for ways to improve processes and make work better
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
