Band & Orchestra Repair Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and repair Woodwind instruments or both Woodwind and Brass Instruments
• Provide estimates on repairs for instruments
• Work on a timetable to ensure that work is completed within estimated cost/time
• Work on customer owned and retail instruments from the student level to professional instruments
• Perform work at the hourly shop rate - with an excellent quality standard
• Other duties as assigned including; repair clinics, working on new for-sale product, assisting with school events

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining patience and a positive attitude
• Adept to multi-tasking and time management
• High level of attention to detail and focus
• Advanced knowledge of band instruments and band instruments repair
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling of instruments in cases up to 75 pounds
• A diploma from an accredited repair school is preferred
• Previous experience in high-volume shop is preferred
