Ballistic Missile Submarine (SSBN) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

About the role

The Ballistic Missile Submarine (SSBN) Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the submarine fleet.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to submarine crews and maintenance teams.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in submarine operations or related field.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid security clearance.
• Experience with submarine systems and operations.
• Knowledge of naval warfare tactics and strategies.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong attention to detail.

Pay

$120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
