Bakery Production Team Member (Food Preparation) - Part Time

Job Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Bakes, cools, wraps, and labels products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques.
• Trains production personnel.
• Plans and forecasts production for special events and holidays.
• Maintains Datapax system production modules.
• Arrives on time, ready to work, and follows standard operating procedures.
• Provides excellent customer service, addressing needs promptly and effectively.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours per day.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling.
• Bending, twisting, squatting, reaching.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: 90°F.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Use of tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
• May require use of ladders.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Pay and Benefits

The wage range for this position is $15.00-$24.40 Hourly, commensurate with experience. New entry level Team Members who successfully complete their first 90-days of employment and who remain actively employed in an eligible role, may be eligible for a base rate increase after their 90-day anniversary.
