Job Summary
A high volume patisserie is seeking a Full-Time General Manager.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and perform all duties of the counter
- Maintain and monitor store inventory levels
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Monitor and record daily cake/pastry orders and deliveries
- Coach and support new and existing staff members
- Oversee register and cash drawer operations
- Scan all orders taken in store to the office and Terra Bakery
- Manage temperature logs, waste, and inventory sheets
- Maintain compliance with company policies and guidelines
- Set a professional example for all staff
Requirements
- Accept full management responsibility and work closely with the Director
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is preferred
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Willingness to work as a team player
- Ability to prioritize tasks, plan, and organize
- Standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
