Bakery Clerk FT

Responsibilities

• Merchandising skills to create appealing product displays.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items according to store recipes or guidelines.
• Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Packaging and labeling bakery products for retail sale, including use-by dates and ingredient labels.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bakery production and service areas.
• Monitoring inventory levels and assisting in receiving and stocking bakery ingredients and supplies.
• Fulfilling production schedules and par levels to ensure product availability.
• Ensuring product quality, consistency, and proper presentation.
• Providing friendly customer service when assisting or answering questions at the bakery counter.
• Following food safety, allergen, and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Pay

Pay Range: $16.00 - $16.25 per hour
