Bakery Clerk

About the Role

The Bakery Clerk plays a key role in the day-to-day bakery operations, involving preparing dough, glazing pastries, and assisting with baking tasks from start to finish. Working alongside the Bakery Sales Manager, the Baker’s Helper helps plan the day’s production, gathers ingredients, and follows recipes with accuracy and attention to detail. The role also includes providing courteous, helpful service to customers, offering product information, answering questions, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough and glaze pastries
• Assist with baking tasks from start to finish
• Plan daily production and gather ingredients
• Follow recipes with accuracy and attention to detail
• Apply icing to baked goods and monitor oven temperatures
• Ensure products meet quality standards
• Provide courteous and helpful customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
