A Day In The Life
The Bakery Clerk plays a key role in the day-to-day bakery operations. This position involves:
- Preparing dough
- Glazing pastries
- Assisting with baking tasks from start to finish
- Working alongside the Bakery Sales Manager to plan the day's production
- Gathering ingredients and following recipes with accuracy and attention to detail
- Applying icing to baked goods
- Monitoring oven temperatures
- Ensuring products meet quality standards
- Providing courteous, helpful service to customers
- Offering product information
- Answering questions
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace
