Bakery Clerk

About the Role

A Bakery Clerk plays a key role in the day-to-day bakery operations. This position involves preparing dough, glazing pastries, and assisting with baking tasks from start to finish. Working alongside the Bakery Sales Manager, the Bakery Clerk helps plan the day’s production, gathers ingredients, and follows recipes with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Apply icing to baked goods
• Monitor oven temperatures
• Ensure products meet quality standards
• Provide courteous, helpful service to customers, offering product information and answering questions
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in consistent results, and appreciates the craft of baking. A strong sense of teamwork, reliability, and a focus on customer experience are essential.
