Bakery Cake Designer - Department: Bakery
Responsibilities
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Escorts customers to products they're looking for
- Sets up timelines and production schedules
- Decorates bakery items in a timely manner
- Ensures department standards are met
- Checks orders for details and supplies
- Delivers product and sets up wedding cakes
- Communicates with bakery manager
- Wraps all product as necessary
- Assists in other areas of the store as needed
Requirements
- High school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to do arithmetic calculations
- Ability to file, post, and mail materials
- Ability to interview and provide basic direction
Qualifications
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to move objects
- Visual requirements including vision, color vision, depth perception, and field of vision
- Physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
