Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh baked goods for resident breakfasts and desserts.
- Prepare large-batch meals in accordance with standardized recipes and production schedules.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Properly operate and maintain kitchen and bakery equipment.
- Aid in food preparation, meal service, and kitchen organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and bakery work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Culinary Services team to ensure timely meal service.
- Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents, families, and fellow team members.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to quality, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine lifting associated with food preparation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous baking, cooking, or commercial food service experience.
- Experience preparing large-batch meals.
- Experience working in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or institutional food service.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
