Job Summary
Aids in the daily operations of the bakery department. Enhances customer confidence and loyalty through consistent and compliant operating conditions. Serves fresh and appealing products with courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt service.
Responsibilities
SERVICE: 60%
- Create welcoming, respectful environment for customers.
- Ensure shelves are stocked with products meeting company standards for availability, freshness, quality, and value.
- Offer samples, answer questions, assist customers in finding or suggesting products.
- Handle customer requests and special orders.
LEADERSHIP: 20%
- Promote trust and respect among associates through collaboration, teamwork, and communication.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, and company guidelines.
FINANCIAL: 10%
- Maintain awareness of inventory and report discrepancies.
- Inspect and package products for sale.
- Utilize production planning tools to produce fresh products and follow discard/markdown processes.
- Maintain proper temperatures and document logs.
COMPLIANCE/SAFETY: 10%
- Maintain safety standards, adhere to food safety regulations, and execute recalls.
- Report and address unsafe conditions, notify management of accidents, and report safety risks and illegal activities.
- Ensure adherence to wage and hour policies.
- Cultivate a safe work environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must be 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it

- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
