Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking bakery products to meet company standards and ensure a positive guest experience. Responsibilities include following safety, food safety, and merchandising guidelines, communicating tasks effectively, and collaborating with team members to support store growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label bakery items according to plan
• Stock and rotate bakery products in the backroom
• Notify management about supply needs
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and guest service standards
• Assist in tasks across other departments as needed

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in varied environments. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in retail or related fields preferred
• Basic math and comprehension skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to read and interpret documents
