Bakery Associate

Essential Functions

• Maintain bakery areas clean and organized
• Maintains sanitation and food safety through regular inspections of equipment, supplies and proper food storage
• Maintains proper rotation of products
• Maintain systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food products
• Maintain systems and procedures for packaging and shipping bakery/food products
• Ability to effectively operate all equipment required by position assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have bakery/food service related experience
• Certified food handler
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Preferred experience: High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods
• Work longer than eight (8) hour shifts

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
