About the role

Our North Lakes store is currently looking for a motivated and hard‑working leader to join and help lead the store's bakery department. Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes and more.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small bakery team
• Create and maintain staff rosters
• Generate bakery orders and control costs
• Complete stock takes
• Merchandise bakery products
• Maintain gross profit calculations
• Ensure high standards of customer service
• Adhere to work health and safety standards

Requirements

• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to liaise with team members and management
• Commitment to work health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Fresh food retail knowledge preferred (not essential)
