About the role

Join our Food Services Team at Aramark and explore a variety of flavors and baking styles. You’ll follow recipes and work with top-of-the-line equipment in a safe, supportive environment that prioritizes your health and safety through established production and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Bake and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and more.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives.
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations (e.g., proper food handling, sanitation, and storage).
• Required to obtain food safety certification(s).
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role may involve physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $22.30.
