About the role
We are seeking candidates to join our team in the Plymouth, IN location. The Dot’s Pretzels brand has experienced significant growth, and we are now looking to expand our team.
Responsibilities
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent product quality.
- Recognize and adjust dough textures as needed.
- Properly measure minor ingredients using catch samples.
- Check dough temperature, hopper levels, and conveyor operations.
- Document cuts per minute and check wet weights/length every 30 minutes.
- Record caustic usage and communicate any issues to supervisors.
- Perform inventory moves in S4 Hana and keep salter levels accurate.
- Notify leads, QA, and packers of any bad product and its shelf life.
- Communicate with immediate supervisor about any problems encountered.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One month of related experience or training.
- Ability to read, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers and decimals.
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment, including GMP, SQF, and other relevant certifications.
- Good physical condition to perform tasks assigned.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and wearing necessary safety equipment.
Skills
- Machine operating experience, especially with mixers and extruders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and recording data.

Pay
$24/hr bi-weekly pay.
Schedule
Nights available, 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am). Plant operates on various schedules based on candidate preference and plant needs.
