About the role

At Bruegger’s Bagels, our Baker is the heart of our bakery, arriving early to kettle-cook our signature New York-style bagels. You’ll be the first in the store (as early as 3 AM) to prepare the quality products that define us. Beyond baking, you’ll work as part of a team to ensure excellent guest service, stock the bagel wall and pastry case, assist with order taking and sandwich making, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Bake and prepare bagels and other bakery items to ensure quality product availability each shift.
• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case.
• Assist with order taking, sandwich making, and other guest service tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to uphold food and beverage quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3 AM) and weekends.
• Must pass a background check as required by local, state, and federal law.
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations).
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours (reasonable accommodations may be provided).

Pay

Hourly rate: $14.57 - $21.86 per hour. Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect the employer’s reasonable and good-faith expectations for the position.
