About the role

You will be part of the process to produce high-quality breads and rolls for customers in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. This role operates equipment and performs functions necessary in the fresh bread-making process, including order selection for accurate store shipments while following company safety and cultural procedures.

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach and lift product, ingredients, and equipment weighing up to 55 lbs (average bucket weight: 40 lbs, tray weight: 22 lbs).
• Manual dexterity, coordination, and good balance required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move rapidly for the entire work shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Repetitious arm movements above and below shoulder level for production and selection.
• Mental alertness to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
• Ability to learn proper selection and inventory procedures.
• Exposure to ambient temperatures (hot and cold environments).

Schedule

• Union environment requires flexibility to work day, night, or overnight shifts, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts as scheduled with notice.

Pay

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range.
