BAKER (FULL TIME)
About the role
Wolfgang Puck Catering is hiring immediate full-time BAKERS at its LA Commissary located at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, Suite #513, Los Angeles, CA 90028. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, Sunday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. More details will be provided during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as per recipes and production specifications.
- Aid in production planning to meet daily requirements.
- Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes, adhering to production standards, and using appropriate equipment.
- Complete production records, including waste tracking, portion control, and reporting shortages; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area.
- Handle foods safely and appropriately during preparation and service.
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving for other assignments.
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris.
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and customer-service-oriented manner.
- Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors.
- Work calmly, accurately, and efficiently during peak production and service times.
- Ensure all food is presented, served, and displayed according to standards.
- Follow sanitation and safety protocols when handling food and equipment.
- Perform shift work as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner.
Requirements
Previous baking experience is required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus is available.
Schedule
Full-time; Sunday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
