BAKER (FULL TIME)

Location: RC Skyline Cafe, 1 Caribbean Way, Miami, FL 33132. Internal employee referral bonus available. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service provided.

About the Role

Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries per production and catering sheets; assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes, prescribed production standards, and proper equipment.
• Complete production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and product shortages; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within work area.
• Handle food items appropriately and safely during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner; relay relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Consistently keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Check that all food is presented, served, and displayed per standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA standards are followed.
• Complete assigned shift work in a timely and thorough manner per department standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous baking experience required.
