Responsibilities
- Process customer orders according to customer request, ensuring products are ready on time.
- Determine variety and quantity of bakery products to be produced or replenished based on orders, sales projections, and daily volume.
- Develop and implement new product ideas under the guidance of the Bakery Manager.
- Awareness of miss-picked merchandise and knowledge of how to correct the issue.
- Knowledge of bakery equipment and procedures to ensure a quality product.
- Merchandise the entrance case with appropriate stock levels based on day, time of year, and special store events.
- Prepare frozen products for proper baking.
- Produce a variety of bakery products ensuring proper production and quality.
- Clean department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases.
- Operate equipment, if needed.
- Operate price scale with knowledge of current prices.
- Price or change price tags on merchandise referring to price list and in coordination with the scan department.
- Receive, open, and unpack cartons and crates of merchandise, checking invoices against items received.
- Promptly clear floor of all restocking equipment and debris.
- Set and sign displays of merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
- Take inventory or examine merchandise on a regular basis, identifying items needing to be reordered or replenished.
- Able to lift 25-50 lbs.

- Day and weekend availability, between the hours of 3am-1pm.
