Baker

About the role

As a Baker, you will prepare a wide variety of breads, rolls, pastries, and other baked goods/desserts. You will ensure cleanliness and sanitation of baking and prep areas and equipment used by the baking team. You will work independently for extended periods throughout the day, but also be flexible and work as part of the kitchen staff to meet production deadlines and food quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Baking large quantities of goods
• Maintain standards of safety and sanitation
• Keep records of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate details to supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• At least two years of prior culinary experience; a degree in culinary arts or equivalent certification
• Work ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Knowledge of food values and nutrition
• Willingness and ability to work solo or as part of a team
• Kitchen and baking experience in a fast-paced kitchen
• Commitment to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
• Organization with a great eye for detail
• Professional communication skills, both oral and written

Pay

The starting wage for this role is $17.50/hour.
