Overview Baker A Baker prepares a variety of baked goods and delicious treats such as pastries, cakes, cookies and bread within the pastry shop of our dynamic casino environment. Responsibilities Prepare bread, rolls, quick breads, muffins, and other similar bakery items.May also be responsible for pasta items.Prepare pies, cakes, cookies, and other baked desserts.Prepares garnishes for vegetable station items.Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.Responsible for maintaining sanitary bakeshop.Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience as a professional baker, with experience in a casino or high-volume environment preferred. A culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution with a specialization in baking preferred. Creativity and passion for baking, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of past work. Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Pay Range USD $15.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.
