About the role

At Bruegger’s, we’ve been kettle-cooking our bagels and serving tradition you can taste for over 35 years. Our Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM), turn on a podcast or their favorite band, and take care of what makes us who we are—bagels! The baker is first in our hearts and the first one in our bakeries.

A day in the life of a Baker includes ensuring quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. We work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, and more. Our teams take pride in maintaining the quality of the food and beverages we serve and keeping a safe and clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure quality product availability each shift.
• Assist with order taking and sandwich making as part of a team.
• Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality.
• Keep the store environment safe and clean.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days, including early hours (as early as 3 AM) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations).
• Must meet driving qualifications as required by Company policy.

The physical demands for this position include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.

Schedule

Stores close at 2 PM, ensuring you will never miss evening events. Early morning shifts start as early as 3 AM.
