About the role

At Bruegger’s, we’ve been kettle cooking our bagels and serving tradition you can taste for over 35 years. Our Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM), turn on a podcast or their favorite band, and take care of what makes us who we are—bagels! Bakers ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. We work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, and more. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve and keeping a safe and clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure quality product availability each shift
• Assist with order taking and sandwich making
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment
• Work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3AM) and weekends

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations)
• Must be able to perform physical demands such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours (with or without reasonable accommodations)

Pay

Hourly rate: $14.57 - $21.86 per hour. Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position.
