About the role

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, our Bakers are the heart of our bakery, arriving early to bake fresh bagels daily. You’ll ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case, assist with guest service, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This role offers a unique work-life balance with stores closing at 2pm, so you’ll never miss important personal moments.

Responsibilities

• Bake fresh bagels daily, starting as early as 3am
• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure product availability
• Assist with order taking, sandwich making, and other guest service tasks
• Maintain food quality and safety standards
• Keep the store environment clean and safe

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3am) and weekends
• Must pass a background check as required by local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations)
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours (reasonable accommodations may be provided)
