Baker
About the role
At Einstein Bros. Bagels, we believe in the bagel, and we’ve been baking bagels fresh daily since 1995. Our Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM), turn on a podcast or their favorite band, and take care of what makes us who we are—bagels! As a Baker, you ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. You’ll work as part of a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
Schedule
Stores close at 2PM, ensuring you’ll never miss evening events like dance recitals or concerts. Shifts may start as early as 3AM and include weekends, with varied hours/days based on business needs.
Pay
Competitive pay, plus cash and credit card tips (eligibility subject to state regulations).

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3AM) and weekends
- Must be able to pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
- Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations)
Physical Demands
The role involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
