Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bake and evaluate samples of bread, pizza, and cookie dough for quality and consistency.
  • Document bake-off results using an electronic tablet and communicate any issues to management for follow-up.
  • Assist the FSQA (Food Safety & Quality Assurance) Technician with hourly quality checks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with food safety and plant standards.
  • Collaborate with and provide assistance to other departments, including Production and Sanitation, to support overall plant operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good math and record-keeping skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
  • Previous baking, food manufacturing, or quality assurance experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule

  • 2nd Shift only (Part-time or full-time available)
  • Hours and days are negotiable: 4–5 days, Monday–Saturday
  • Typical start time between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., ending between 11:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting wage: $14.00/hour plus $0.75 shift differential.
