Baggage/Package Handling Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the new Baggage/Package Handling Group
• Pursue and deliver large-scale projects using existing controls engineering resources
• Review specifications and standard practices
• Support estimating efforts
• Follow internal and customer standards as required
• Assist in installation oversight
• Manage engineering team

Requirements

• Strong technical experience and leadership in baggage handling systems (BHS), package/parcel sortation, or automated material handling/conveyor systems preferred.
• 5-10+ years in project management, with increasing responsibility and project scale (typically $5M-$20M+ projects).
• Background in engineering, installation, commissioning, testing, or controls integration for logistics/automation projects (at least 5 years leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in many postings).
• Proven track record managing subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software/controls).
• Airport/aviation or large-scale logistics facility experience is a strong plus (especially for baggage roles).
