Responsibilities
- Lead the new Baggage/Package Handling Group, using our existing controls engineering resources to pursue and deliver large-scale projects
- Review specifications and standard practices
- Support estimating efforts
- Follow internal and customer standards as required
- Assisting in installation oversight
- Manage engineering team
Requirements
- Strong technical experience and leadership in baggage handling systems (BHS), Package/parcel sortation, or automated material handling/conveyor systems preferred.
- 5-10+ years in project management, with increasing responsibility and project scale (typically $5M-$20M+ projects).
- Background in engineering, installation, commissioning, testing, or controls integration for logistics/automation projects (at least 5 years leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in many postings).
- Proven track record managing subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software/controls.).
- Airport/aviation or large-scale logistics facility experience is a strong plus (especially for baggage roles).
